How To Access Your GlobalDrive-Stored data
With GlobalDrive, you can access your data using any type of PC, from anywhere in the world!
Let's say you're working on that "big project" and want to review it after dinner. You can:
- Save it using our Virtual Disk Drive; or
- Save it to your hard disk and upload it to your account using the GlobalDrive website.
When you're ready to work from your home computer, you simply access your GlobalDrive-stored data using either the Virtual Disk Drive or the web site. Maybe you find a problem, or tweak something in the project. Save it like you normally would and then tomorrow, when you're back in the office, you've got all your changes and notes, and you're ready-to-go!
Or let's say you've made that "big client proposal" and you're off to their headquarters to make your presentation. But you don't want to have to lug your computer with you. Simply store the presentation on GlobalDrive and share it with them! They can view your GlobalDrive-stored, shared files as if they stored it themselves - but they can't modify the presentation, because it's your file and they're only sharing it. How cool is that!
You can access all your GlobalDrive-stored data as if it were on a local disk drive. Use your favorite software's Save, Save As, Rename, Delete, Move, Copy, Cut, Paste, and Print functions on your GlobalDrive-stored data with ease!
If you can't install our Virtual Disk Drive, or if you're using a Mac, or if you're at a "shared computer" (e.g., a library, an internet café, or a copy center), there's No Worries! Just log into our website (see the "Login" link on our site's page header) and you have total control over your data from anywhere in the world, regardless of computing platform!
