How To Share Your GlobalDrive-Stored Data
There are many different ways you can share stuff with your friends:
Sharing Using Your GlobalDrive Sub-Accounts
GlobalDrive gives you the ability to have "sub-accounts" (i.e., other authorized users) for the same GlobalDrive account. Based on your account package, you can have hundreds of extra logins.
To view or setup your sub-accounts, simply login. When the "My Stuff" web page appears, on the left-hand side you will see two buttons named "Add sub-accounts" and "Modify/view sub-accounts". Simply click on these tools to add, view, or modify your sub-accounts. You can even limit the space and permissions each sub-account user has within your account!

Sharing Using Our "Virtual Directory" Feature
Simply create a "Virtual Directory" and place the files you want to share with sub-account users there. All sub-account users have read/write/modify/delete access to all Virtual Directories in your account.
To create a Virtual Directory, login, and on the left-hand side of the "My Stuff" web page left-click "Virtual Directories" and then left-click "Add a Virtual Directory".

The GlobalDrive Web Site File Sharing Feature
GlobalDrive gives you the ability to share a file using a link sent via email. This link is valid until you delete it, and it will work even if the file is renamed or moved within your GlobalDrive space. The user receiving the email does not have to have a GlobalDrive account (nor a sub-account) in order to view the file(s) you have shared with them.
Login to your GlobalDrive account using the GlobalDrive web site and find the file you would like to share. Click the button named "Share It!" and you will be presented with a pop-up window that prompts you for an email address of the person with whom you would like to share the file. Enter that person's email and click "Send" and an email will be sent with a link containing an encrypted key to that person. For the next thirty days, they will be able to click on that link and access the file even if the file is renamed or moved within your GlobalDrive space.

The GlobalDrive Virtual Disk Drive File Sharing Feature
Login to your GlobalDrive account using our Virtual Disk Drive and left-click on the "Share" button. Left-click on the "Refresh Shares" button to see all of the files that you are currently sharing, and with whom. Left-click on the "Create Share" button and enter the path of the file that you would like to share (e.g., "C:\temp\readme.txt") and the email address of the person with whom you would like to share the file (and optionally, a password they will need to download the file). When you left-click on "Add Share" your share will be created and an email will be sent to the user notifying them that they can download the file.
